En tournant avec l’artiste JR, dans une favela de Rio de Janeiro, il a une véritable révélation et se tourne vers l’art. En l’adaptant à son vécu.
Christophe Monteil voyage maintenant sur les pistes d’une histoire d’eau avec le projet Water Is Life, un projet artistique utilisant des eaux du monde entier.
Morceau d’iceberg du Groenland, écume salée des Cyclades, montagnes d’eau du peuple H’Mong, l’ADN de ces lieux se retrouvent physiquement dans les créations de Christophe Monteil.
Des Messagers des eaux, des personnes du monde entier, intègrent son projet artistique en envoyant ce liquide et l’enrichissant de leurs histoires.
Il est le Passeur d’Eau. Il donne de la voix à la voie de l’eau. Une ode à la nature. Avec du sens.
Pour chaque oeuvre vendue, l’artiste en reverse une partie à une association de protection des animaux ou de la biodiversité.
Water Is Life s’intègre maintenant dans un projet plus global, Art 4 Nature , dans lequel l’artiste travaille en partenariat avec des associations et ONG de protections animalières et de la biodiversité.
